The perspectives of justice, gender, and intersectionality offer a critical view of dominant discourses and actions and, in their place, propose transformative measures. It is not enough to change energy sources if the political, economic, and cultural structures that perpetuate inequality, discrimination, and exclusion remain intact. A just energy transition requires rethinking the ways we produce and consume, as well as our relationships with nature and with one another.
It is about imagining and building a future where energy is not a market commodity, but a right linked to dignity, equality, and the care of life. It is within this vision that feminist, environmental, and community struggles converge.
